My Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Sociology and professional degree in natural resource management have provided me with the theoretical knowledge to understand the nuances of rural livelihood and poverty. With more than twenty years of wide variety of exposure and experience of working at the grassroots level and dealing with development issues through impact studies and practice, I am well placed to deal with issues of social development and natural resources management. Dealing with service delivery and institutional reforms at the local and national level and also issues of the poor, especially the ethnic minorities has sharpened my understanding of policies on rural/urban development and natural resources management. I have a proven ability to work productively with senior government officers, civil society organizations and development agencies, especially in the rural and urban development sectors through donor funded and Government aided projects. These projects have provided me with the knowledge and experience of dealing with the community and governance issues. Such skills and experience will enable me to effectively advise the organization on various aspects of development and project management issues.
