More than 26 years’ experience as a senior manager, 16 years in active Customs Service, including regular representation of the administration at overseas meetings, workshops and high level conferences.
Experience of preparing terms of reference for customs TA and investment programmes/projects. Familiar to EU Customs’ standards and EU guidelines for IBM (EU strategy for IBM on Western Balkans and Guidelines for Integrated Border Management in EC External Cooperation), EU Schengen Catalogue, EU border surveillance and security model, etc).
Experience in research and development of border control equipments
Field experience of implementing complex Customs/ law enforcement projects.
Fully conversant with EU standards and regulations on customs. as well as customs techniques.
