TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND IDENTIFICATION STUDY FOR A NEW COMPONENT UNDER THE SWITCH ASIA PROGRAMME
Senior Expert-Team leader

The expert must have the following qualifications:
· Post-graduate degree in development economics, economics, or social sciences. Multidisciplinary
background such as economics/sociology and/or economics/environment would be a distinct asset.
· At least 10 years of relevant experience in the fields of industry/business development, development
finances/banking or development economics;
· At least 1 year of permanent stay in Asia/one or more of the selected countries, linked to working
relations in a relevant field;
The following skills and qualifications will be an asset:
· Familiarity with Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) and "green" financing;
· proven record of conducted studies in relevant fields – industry/business development, finances/banking
or development economics, preferably with a focus in Asia;
· previous experience in project identification studies for the Commission;
· familiarity with the Project Cycle Management principles of the Commission
